Switching between leader and team player

One big learning experience we got from running af professional jazz group together for 10 years was what it was like to switch between the roles of conducting and playing.

As conductors, we sometimes felt frustrated that the musicians didn't respond (ie. play) the way we had intended. And as musicians, we sometimes felt frustrated by getting given a task we didn't understand og felt like we could complete. Perhaps this rings a bell for some of you?

Bridging this gap is one of the things we work on with our clients. It's about communication, expectations and how you pass on the mandate for decisions.

We engage with clients about relations and behavioural change through experiences and processes from the world of music. We facilitate programmes where we use different elements of musicality to give companies first-hand experiences, principles for musical collaboration/management and a musical language that can be implemented in their cultural language.
